What does a doula do?
Care for you and your family.

As your postpartum doula, I will: care for your family and your household so you can give your new baby the uninterrupted attention and care babies need and deserve. Many people believe that women instinctively know how to care for babies, yet it is really experience that teaches us the skills of parenting. Doulas can assist families as they learn the skills necessary to gain confidence in parenting.

As your labor doula, I will: provide continuous support through your labor and birth. I also support your birthing partners. Once your baby has arrived I provide breastfeeding support immediately after the birth.

With all services: I provide a consultation visit – a free, no-obligation visit for anyone desiring information about my services. This visit is an opportunity to learn more about my service and get to know me.

Individualized care: means that although the above is a description of my typical service, if you need additional or alternative care, I will happily do my best to meet your needs.
