Becky Harms wants to empower women by giving them the information she wishes she’d had when she gave birth to her own children. Becky is a birth doula and also is trained in life support and CPR.

Her path to becoming a doula started in nursing school. Then after her marriage, she pursued certification as a nursing assistant and worked as a CNA. She became a doula in 2002, after the birth of her third child.

“I am able to help women make educated choices during their labor and delivery – choices that I knew nothing about while having my own children,” she said.

She’ll never get over the wonder of helping bring new lives into the world.

“It does not matter how many births I have attended,” she said. “Every single one still brings tears of joy.”

Becky and her husband have three daughters.
