Before I even found out I was pregnant, I knew I wanted someone alongside me to educate me and support me during labor. I wanted someone to be an advocate for me in the hospital.
Hannah was wonderful from the beginning! She came to our home for multiple sessions where we learned prenatal care and learned about the birthing process. She walked me through my options and we developed a birth plan.
In the hospital, my labor didn’t go as planned but Hannah was there through the 50+ hours of it. She guided my husband in I in various positions to help relieve pain during contractions. She helped me achieve different positions even after my epidural and she was there before and after the inevitable c-section.
After my son was born, she came over to hold him while I took and a nap and assured me that all my postpartum feelings were normal.
I was so glad to have her!
