I reached out to Care for Mom and spoke with Susan about my first birth experience. I had fears going into this pregnancy and knew I needed a doula that I connected with. She recommended Kim to me and she could not have picked a better doula to support me. She listened to all of my concerns and always assured me that this birth is not going to be like my first. She was the perfect balance of helping me be informed and respecting the dreams I had for a redemptive birth experience.
When I switched providers at 38 weeks and decided to have a home birth she supported me in every way. Even though I had experienced birth before, she helped me work through all of the things I wanted to do differently this time around. Her gentle and quiet spirit was exactly what I needed. Every time we spoke before my daughter’s birth I left with more peace than I had before. I would say she has a gift for it.
